Newport/Ft. Loramie Pastoral Region Business Manager

This newly created full time position provides the operational infrastructure which supports the Pastor and the parishes in the pastoral region. It assumes administrative and operational responsibility for the parishes, in particular in the areas of finance, operations, human resources, communications, and planning. The Business Manager exercises insight and responsibility over every administrative aspect of both parishes and facilitates implementation of administrative priorities consistent with Archdiocesan guidelines and pastoral region goals.

Building Maintenance and Groundskeeper (20 to 30 hrs/wk)

Under the supervision of the Pastor, performs groundskeeping, light to medium duty maintenance and custodial duties in the efficient operation of St. Michael Parish. Areas included are the Church building, the Religious Education building (St. Mike’s Place), the parish office center building (old rectory) and the campus surrounding. Areas not included are St. Michael Hall and the area surrounding the hall. Click here for detailed description.


Head Sacristan (5 to 10 hrs/wk)

Under the supervision of the Pastor, performs custodial duties for the efficient operation of the Sacristy and Sanctuary of St. Michael Church, including ordering supplies, washing and ironing linens, seasonal decorating, mass preparations, overseeing volunteers, etc. (We do not have a detailed description at this time)
