Parish Leadership Positions: Nominate yourself or another parishioner to represent your parish. These volunteer positions are open to active members of our parishes who are willing and who have the time to serve in a leadership capacity.
Pastoral Council Members at Large | 3-year term: Members advise the pastor by identifying pastoral needs and priorities, by recommending policies and procedures, and by taking an active role in parish planning. Both pastoral councils meet five times a year on a Tuesday at 7:15p in June, August, November, January and March
Education Commission | St Michael Only | 3-year term: Members provide recommendations on policies, procedures, budget and programing for faith formation and evangelization in our parish including: sacrament preparation, faith formation of children, youth ministry, and adult faith formation.
Worship Commission | Meet 5 times a year | 3-year term: With the pastor and pastoral staff, the members establish liturgy and worship goals and assists in the coordination of all liturgical or special celebrations, liturgical events and musical planning and participation. Other areas of concern include discerning, training, developing, scheduling and the renewal of the laity in their participation in liturgical celebrations.
Outreach Commission | Meet Quarterly | 3-year term: Members provide direction on parish programing that cultivate opportunities for all people to answer God’s call through works of mercy, charity, justice, and solidarity as inspired by Catholic social teaching to live the Gospel. The scope of ministry includes: Life and Dignity of the Human Person; Call to Family, Community, and Participation; Rights and
Responsibilities; Options for the Poor and Vulnerable; The Dignity of Work and The Rights of Workers; Solidarity; Care for God’s Creation
